Don't know the game as I was only two, but it was 1959. Means I have attended games in 8 different decades.

Last game of the 1990/91 season against Notts County
Looking back I didn't realise how much of a fuck up it was that we didn't win the league that day.
Remember Parris scoring and just being slung in the air by my dad's mate and everyone on the pitch at the end.
If anyone wants a print of their first game I started a little hobby in lockdown with all my old programmes and cards.

Ludooo - oh mate what a shocking first game. Ive never been so crushed sat on the pitch after the game hearing Oldham had won the title.
My first game, Coventry 2 - 4 West Ham last game of 1982-83. A young Tony Cottee came off the bench and scored twice. Les Sealey was in goal for them. Loads of trouble behind their goal If i remember... guessing it was the ICF saying goodbye for the season!

Re: Your first game?

At home to Brian Clough's Derby County, lost 4 -1. It was the game when Sir Bobby was dropped for going on the piss in Blackpool before a cup game. He was on the bench and I think we were at least three nil down a half-time. I can remember a very disgruntled crowd and a few Greenwood out banners. Sir Bobby came on at half-time and stopped the flow. I think that game sums what supporting West Ham is about and I wouldn't have it any other way.
In those days you just rocked up and waited at the turnstile, my old man used to take my brother and me in his lorry when delivering on a Saturday and we just used to pick a game and queue to watch it. I remember queuing at the Hawthornes to see WB v Man Utd, Charlton, Best, Law, Astle etc in their pomp.

Loads of people with radios around us and a few saying Oldham had won it but you're right by then the pitch was full.

April 1994 v Ipswich, 2-1 win, Matty Rush screamer.
Will never forget the feeling of walking out to the stand and seeing inside that ground and the pitch for the first time.

versus Leeds 1965 at the Boleyn. 0 - 0 The start of a lifelong support and would not change it. Leeds at that time were brilliant but, on that night so were we. .Even to though it was nil nil

Had been to a few games earlier in my childhood with my Dad, but can't remember them now. So for me it's the 2-1 victory vs Everton, Jan 2 '82, FA Cup 3rd round. Bonds and Psycho (iirc). East stand upper.
